Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC), a leading Public Sector Utility Company in Pakistan, is seeking a Senior Engineer – Asset Maintenance & Projects to oversee and manage construction, repair, and maintenance projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervision, inspections, budgeting, compliance, and coordination to ensure high-quality project execution while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong project management and problem-solving skills. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all civil infrastructure projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas Sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for drafting and reviewing construction/maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise small-scale construction, repair, and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and recommend necessary repair and maintenance solutions.
• Prepare detailed BOQs and job estimates, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective execution.
• Ensure all civil works comply with company policies, health, safety, environmental (HSE) standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
• Identify construction or maintenance issues, provide solutions, and minimize delays and risks.
• Incorporate sustainable practices where applicable in construction and maintenance projects.
• Use AutoCAD (2D/3D) to draft and review floor plans, seating arrangements, and construction/maintenance plans.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department (HoD).
